Coke pusher is designed for servicing of furnace chamber from pusher side. Coke pusher is the largest coke machine based on number and power of equipment to be installed on it, as well as based on weight data and dimensioning specifications. Coke pusher operation is governed by specified schedule of pushing and furnace charging and under technology is strictly connected with other coke machines operation, notably: coal charging car, door-extracting machine and coke-quenching car. Hydraulic drives are widely used at the recent types of coke pushers, and coke pushers carry out all furnace servicing operations from one installation. The new machines have desired degree of mechanization, automation of technological processes and environment protection.
