Conveyor sintering machines (МАК)


Yuzhno-Uralskiy Heavy Engineering has been a traditional manufacturer and supplier of the equipment for Sinter Plants since 1957. About 100 sintering machines of different purpose with sintering area from 5,2 m2 up to 408 m2, about 60 sinter coolers with output from 120 t/h up to 600 t/h, various process equipment: drum coolers, mixers, feeders, crushers and etc. have been supplied to the sinter plants in Russia and 14 countries of the world for this period of time. More than 15 000 pcs. of sintering cars, as spare parts have been supplied for last 25 years only. Sintering machines with «YUMZ» trademark are used to produce at iron-containing, manganese nickel and chrome sinter, roasting of lead concentrates (machines with the bottom-blowing), and also to recycle production wastes at ferrous and nonferrous metallurgy enterprises. The characteristic feature of our deliveries is that the machines’ designs and their adaptation to customer specific conditions are regularly improved by involving the scientific organizations and applying experience of the Steel Plants wherein the equipment is operated. At the present time Yuzhno-Uralskiy Heavy Engineering manufactures and delivers the improved sintering machines MAK typed of the third generation design of which essentially differs from the earlier delivered ones and intends both for a new design and reconstruction of sinter plants being operated with sintering machines of out-dated design. The problem of installation of the improved sintering machines in the existing sinter plant buildings also has been resolved by means of their design. For example, new sintering machines with sintering car width of 3,0 m can be installed at existing sintering workshop buildings with columns spacing of 6 m and 5 m instead of sintering machines with sintering car width of 2,0...2,8 m. It significantly reduces the civil work costs during sinter plant reconstruction. The advanced technical solutions are to be used in the design of new sintering machines provide growth of output, reduction of running production costs, saving of fuel and energy resources and other advantages.
